Toby recently pitched a song to NASCAR to use as the opening theme song before races. NASCAR apparently loved it so much they created an entire video sequence to use, with Toby singing the song. Those of you that happened to catch the Daytona 500 this year saw it.

Toby is going to be performing some of her soon-to-be hits at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York City this February 26th at 8pm. You can find out more info, including how to get there, at the Rockwood Music Hall website.

For those cruising in after catching Toby's song in "P.S. I Love You", Welcome! At the moment, the brainstorming process is underway for Toby's third album. No details yet to share, but when we have something, we'll post everything we can as soon as we can.

Anyone in the NYC that caught Toby's performance in "Alive in the City", I'd love to hear your reactions -- I wasn't able to attend (distance and all). If you've seen any press coverage of the play, I'd be most appreciative if you could pass it along -- rob at tobylightman dot net. Toby is going to be appearing in a totally different experience in January. Still on a stage, but this time she's going to be in a play! Toby will be taking part in Alive in the World, a musical benefiting the Twin Towers Orphan Fund. The show is at the Zipper Factory in New York City on two dates -- Sunday, January 13 and Monday, January 14.
